Approval of the consent for rabbi of Płock, Icek Lewkowicz, by the Greater Poland elders
The elders of Greater Poland prolong for the coming years the consent of Icek Lewkowicz, the rabbi of Sierpc, for the rabbinate of Płock. Jews from Płock and neighbouring towns were ordered to be completely obedient to him under the penalty of a curse. They confirm the earlier consent issued in 1714 during the land council in Koźmin.
